The December 5, 2008 entry deadline for the 2009 Hope Awards is fast approaching! The HOPE Awards (Home Ownership Participation for Everyone) is a national industry awards program that recognizes individuals and organizations that made outstanding contributions to increasing minority homeownership. Up to seven winners will receive $10,000. The categories for the HOPE Awards are Finance, Homeownership Education, Leadership, Media Coverage, Project of the Year, Public Policy and Real Estate Brokerage. The awards are open to REALTOR® associations, members, and Housing Opportunity/Diversity committees. If you are aware of an individual, non-profit or for-profit organization, or state and local agency in your community that meets the qualifications, please encourage them to apply.
