Chicago Police have provided a photo of the suspect believed to be involved in the recent sexual assault on the 2300 block of W. Moffat.  This offender may have also been involved in a sexual assault that occurred on the 1700 block of N. Marshfield in September.
 
The offender in both incidents is described as a black male, 20-30 years old, 5'6'' - 5'8'', 180 - 200 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, a medium to dark complexion and a goatee. In the most recent incident the offender was wearing a brown waist length jacket, dark colored pants and a hat.
 
What You Can Do: 
 
-  Make other residents in your area aware of this incident.
- Walk, ride or jog with a partner.
- Avoid dark, isolated places - Don't walk or park in these areas.
- Be alert and look around. Keep at least one hand free - don't carry bulky purses or parcels. When alone, avoid wearing headphones or talking on your cell phone.
- After dark, tell family and friends when to expect you and how you will be traveling.
- Have your house keys out and ready to use.
- Consider carrying a personal safety alarm.
- Follow your instincts - if you feel threatened, go to the nearest open store or business. Call 911 immediately.
